Pumice Factory Kit

It has never been more fun to learn! Engage children of all ages with STEM toys that will encourage them to explore, understand and be inspired by the world of science, technology, engineering and math.

Pumice is a rock so light it can float on water. With this kit you’ll be creating polyurethane foam, a similar substance to pumice. By combining two chemicals you’ll cause a foam to form and expand, trapping rising gas bubbles. This foam cools quick similar to the process in which pumice is formed that to make it buoyant.

• Bottle of Poly A Isocyanate (brown)
• Bottle of Poly B Tertiary Amine (yellow)
• Craft Stick
• Sample of Pumice
