Own a 3D replica of Itokawa – Asteroid 25143
In 2010, the Japanese spacecraft Hayabusa returned to Earth with samples of Asteroid 25143, Itokawa. Hayabusa’s observations revealed that S-type asteroids like Itokawa are the source of the most common kind of meteorite found on Earth: the ordinary chondrite meteorite. Itokawa is probably not solid, but is thought to be a rubble pile held together by gravity.
