Study the path of totality for the October 14, 2023 annular solar eclipse as it will pass over the United States. Then flip the map over to follow the path for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. The paths are color coded to note the duration of totality by location, helping pinpoint the ideal viewing locations that will experience the longest periods of totality.

For locations not on the paths of totality, bands indicate the percentages of the sun that will be eclipsed in each area.
