The Big Dipper is one of the most visible parts of the constellation Ursa Minor. The Big Dipper does not sink below the horizon at night and can be found in various parts of the sky depending on the time of year. On summer and spring nights the Big Dipper can be found higher in the sky but as temperatures cool in fall and winter you can find it closer to the horizon.

Although the Big Dipper is found in the night sky you can keep it with you day or night with this necklace.
