Description
The Spring 1991 issue of Telescope Making — “the magazine for, by, and about telescope makers” — features the following articles:

-“Constructing a Large Brass Refractor,” by Larry Myers

-“A New Apochromatic Doublet,” by Robert B. Douglas

-“A Light-Weight 30-Inch Dobsonian,” by Tom and Jeannie Clark

-“The 1991 Winter Star Party,” by Richard Berry

-“Low-Tech R&D and Off-the-Shelf Parts for Super-Big
Telescopes,” by Dave Kreige

Telescope Making debuted in 1978 in response to Astronomy magazine readers’ demand for more information about how to build telescopes. In the premiere issue, Editor Richard Berry explained the magazine’s mission: “We see TM as a magazine that will help people share their ideas and learn from each other. ... You, and the telescopes you build, are its subject.” Telescope Making ran quarterly until 1992.
