Description
The Summer 1990 issue of Telescope Making — “the magazine for, by, and about telescope makers” — features the following articles:

-“A Simple Unobstructed Telescope,” by David Shafer

-“An Observing Ladder for Big Telescopes,” by David Kriege

-“The Nuances of Optical Testing,” by Peter Ceravolo

-“A Breakdown Telescope for Club Use,” by Bob Drew

-“How to Paint an Observatory Dome,” by Barry Beaman

-“Riverside 1990,” by Richard Berry and Peter Ceravolo

Telescope Making debuted in 1978 in response to Astronomy magazine readers’ demand for more information about how to build telescopes. In the premiere issue, Editor Richard Berry explained the magazine’s mission: “We see TM as a magazine that will help people share their ideas and learn from each other. ... You, and the telescopes you build, are its subject.” Telescope Making ran quarterly until 1992.
