Description
The Winter 1987/88 issue of Telescope Making — “the magazine for, by, and about telescope makers” — features the following articles:

-“The Warren Rupp Observatory,” by Robert Bunge

-“The OCA’s Anza Observatory,” by John Sanford

-“The Schalck-Newtonian,” by Robert Schalck

-“A Test for Figuring Cassegrain Secondaries,” by Jordan D. Marche II

-“Highlights of Stellafane 1987,” by Richard Berry

-“Rolling Observatory,” by Tom Clark

-“The Texas Star Party in 1987,” by David J. Eicher

-“Optical Experts Comment on the TSP,” compiled by Robert E. Cox

Telescope Making debuted in 1978 in response to Astronomy magazine readers’ demand for more information about how to build telescopes. In the premiere issue, Editor Richard Berry explained the magazine’s mission: “We see TM as a magazine that will help people share their ideas and learn from each other. ... You, and the telescopes you build, are its subject.” Telescope Making ran quarterly until 1992.
